Kaduna Community Unveils Identities Of 14 Kidnap Victims
The names of the 14 victims kidnapped from Dogon Noma in the Unguwan Gamo community of Kauru local government area in Kaduna State have been released by the community.
An unspecified number of individuals were kidnapped from the community on Saturday, March 16, 2024, around 6:00 am when a large group of bandits invaded the area.
Earlier, a former chairman of Kauru local government area, Hon. Cafra Caino, confirmed the attack but was unable to determine the exact number of kidnapped individuals on Saturday.
However, Caino has now verified that 14 persons, including three men and 11 women, were kidnapped, and one person sustained injuries during the attack.

Additionally, Mr. Jibrin Dauda sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
As of the press time, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Mansir Hassan, had not confirmed the attack and abduction as his phone number could not be reached.
Similarly, the Kaduna State government had not released any official statement regarding the latest attack in the state.
