Lagos Police Confirm Paul Adefarasin Held a Stun Gun, Not a Firearm, in Viral Video

The Lagos State Police Command has clarified the nature of the object held by prominent cleric Paul Adefarasin in a recent viral video that sparked public concern. In a statement shared through official channels, the police confirmed that the item in question was not a firearm but a stun gun.
According to authorities, the device, while not lethal, is categorized as prohibited anti-riot equipment under Nigerian law. The clarification comes amid growing public interest and speculation following the video, which circulated widely on social media platforms.


Further confirming developments in the investigation, Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin announced that Adefarasin has been granted administrative bail. The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement continues to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
