Barcelona’s 17-year-old football prodigy Lamine Yamal has found himself at the center of swirling speculation after being seen vacationing in Italy with 29-year-old Spanish flight attendant and social media influencer Fati Vazquez. Despite the photographs of the duo enjoying luxurious activities together, both parties have denied being romantically involved.
Photos recently surfaced of Yamal and Vazquez riding a jet ski on the island of Pantelleria, off the southern coast of Sicily. The pair also shared separate posts from the same scenic location, showcasing helicopter rides, poolside relaxation, and a private boat trip.

Reports from Spain suggest that while there is an apparent closeness between them, the pair are not placing a label on their relationship. "They get along perfectly," one account noted, adding that they chose to vacation together to celebrate the end of a successful season. The report emphasized that their age difference — Vazquez is 12 years older than Yamal — has not hindered their connection.
However, Yamal has directly denied being in a relationship with Vazquez. According to sources close to the footballer, he stated clearly that "nothing is going on" between them. He also reportedly traveled to the location with other FC Barcelona teammates, not alone.

Speculation continues, with suggestions that Vazquez may be connected to another Barcelona player, rather than Yamal himself.
Following the public attention, Vazquez has received significant backlash, including online abuse and death threats. She has since spoken out against the harassment, clarifying her age and defending her right to enjoy time with friends.

“I’m receiving death threats and messages calling me a paedophile,” Vazquez said in a recent interview. “First, I’m 29, I haven’t even made it to 30. I haven’t done anything wrong. People are reacting as if I’ve committed a crime. It’s affecting him [Yamal] as well.”
Vazquez emphasized that the two are “just people who want to have a good time,” calling the public reaction excessive. She also posted a message on Instagram in response to the criticism: “Imagine talking bad about me and I’m over here like this,” sharing an image of herself enjoying a pool in Italy.

“It’s sad to see how some people carry so much darkness inside that they get to wish death on someone they don’t even know,” she added. “I choose to live with purpose, continue to grow, and surround myself with light.”
Once a flight attendant, Vazquez has transitioned into a successful social media career with over one million followers across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and OnlyFans. She is known for her fitness content and has also authored a book about bullying she endured in her youth.

Meanwhile, Yamal is reportedly single. He was previously linked to TikTok influencer Alex Padilla, though the relationship ended after a video of Padilla with another boy surfaced. Later, he was seen shopping with another influencer, Anna Gegnoso, in Barcelona, but reports suggest they are no longer dating.
Yamal recently shared an image from the airport as he departed for Brazil, where he hopes to meet football icon Neymar — a lifelong idol he has spoken about in multiple interviews. The rising star is enjoying a brief break following Spain’s recent loss to Portugal in the Nations League final.
