NBA player Dillon Brooks has filed for a new restraining order against Heather Andrews, the mother of his two children, alleging a disturbing pattern of threats, harassment, and digital intrusion. The court filing, submitted in Los Angeles on Wednesday, accuses Andrews of issuing violent threats, hacking his accounts, and attempting to sabotage his career.
Brooks, recently traded to the Phoenix Suns, claims that Andrews—mother of his five-year-old and two-year-old children—threatened to have his fingers cut off so he could no longer play basketball. The 28-year-old athlete also alleges she accessed his bank accounts, destroyed his property, and sent abusive messages about his family and current relationship.

According to the court documents, Brooks and Andrews met at a nightclub in Las Vegas in 2018. Their brief relationship led to a pregnancy, which Brooks claims he learned about not directly, but through a social media post of a sonogram. He says the harassment began shortly after, with Andrews bombarding him with up to 100 messages when he didn’t respond quickly.
Brooks alleges Andrews used burner phones to contact him, and while she briefly apologized and appeared reformed during a visit to Toronto, he believes it was a ploy to get pregnant again. The couple had a second child, but Brooks claims Andrews quickly reverted to abusive behavior.

Included in the court filing are text message screenshots allegedly sent by Andrews. One reads:
“I’ll have someone cut each one of your f**ing little fingers off one by one. So you can never play basketball LOL… And actually now I understand why people are racist.”*
Another threat reportedly targeted Brooks’ mother:
“I’ll send someone after your mom too b**h.”*
The documents also contain images of Brooks' Memphis home after an alleged break-in and vandalism. Graffiti such as “You Suck B**h”* was scrawled across the walls, reportedly in retaliation for Brooks dating another woman.

Brooks further alleges Andrews gained unauthorized access to his iCloud, a co-parenting app, and a City National Bank account, even threatening to transfer money and frame him for it. A letter from OurFamilyWizard, the co-parenting app, was included in the filing, confirming a breach by an unauthorized individual.
In a particularly alarming claim, Brooks states Andrews sent herself a message impersonating him in which she threatened herself with violence—an apparent attempt to fabricate criminal behavior on his part. The message mentioned Mirna Habib, an Instagram model Brooks is reportedly dating, and warned of violent consequences if Andrews continued contact.

Brooks noted that Andrews had previously obtained a temporary restraining order (TRO) against him last year, citing threats, but says his current filing is to protect himself and his family following a renewed wave of harassment.
As this legal battle unfolds, Brooks continues to focus on his career, having just been traded from the Houston Rockets to the Phoenix Suns. The timing of this personal turmoil comes amid major professional changes for the NBA star.
