Rapper French Montana, 40, is engaged to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Princess of Dubai, following a proposal two months ago, according to a press release on Wednesday, August 27.
Montana proposed during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after his first runway walk for the Spring/Summer 2026 collection for 3.PARADIS. Two days after the June 25 sand-covered show, Montana shared a photo of his runway walk on social media, captioned “TOUCHDOWN 🌊🎥.” Representatives confirmed that wedding plans are in progress, though specific dates and arrangements are still being finalized by both families, who are reportedly supportive and excited.

Speculation about Montana and Sheikha Mahra’s relationship began nearly a year ago after they were seen together in October 2024 when the princess shared photos of him touring Dubai. The couple publicly confirmed their romance this summer, appearing hand-in-hand at multiple Paris Fashion Week events.
Sheikha Mahra, 31, was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a daughter. She announced their divorce in July 2024 through a social media post that referenced the Islamic practice of triple talaq, which permits a husband to end a marriage by saying “I divorce you” three times. She concluded the post with, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”
The engagement marks a high-profile union between the hip-hop star and a member of Dubai’s royal family, generating global media attention and interest in upcoming wedding plans.
