In dramatic testimony during Sean "Diddy" Combs’ federal trial, an ex-girlfriend of the hip-hop mogul recounted a controversial Las Vegas trip with a top rapper and offered harrowing details of alleged abuse and sexual coercion. The woman, testifying under the pseudonym "Jane Doe," dated Combs intermittently between 2021 and 2024 and shared disturbing accounts of their relationship and the mogul’s controlling behavior.
According to Doe, the January 2024 Las Vegas trip took place while she and Combs were briefly separated. She and a friend traveled aboard a private jet belonging to a highly successful rapper, whose name was not disclosed in court. The trip was organized to celebrate the rapper’s girlfriend’s birthday and included extravagant outings, such as a play, dinner, and a visit to a strip club.
Doe testified that later that evening, the rapper invited her and others to a hotel suite at the Encore Hotel. There, they observed a male escort named Anton having sex with a woman, with around eight people present. Doe said she stayed in the room for approximately 20 minutes, during which she flirted with the rapper and briefly exposed her breasts, but insisted that nothing physical occurred between them.
Defense attorney Teny Geragos described the rapper as being "at the top of the music industry" and noted he was "close" with Combs, often collaborating musically. The presence of Anton, the escort, became a focal point during questioning. Doe previously admitted to sleeping with Anton during a "hotel night" while Combs watched.
Federal prosecutors have charged Combs with five counts, including sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. He has pleaded not guilty.
One of the more chilling moments from the courtroom involved a text message from Combs to another escort named Paul. After Doe declined to participate in another hotel encounter, Combs reportedly texted Paul: “I’m gonna need you to persuade her.” Prosecutors cited this as part of a broader pattern of manipulation and coercion.
Doe described a violent altercation that occurred on June 18, 2024, months after the couple reconciled. She had planned a quiet evening at her Los Angeles home, but the evening turned violent. She admitted to striking Combs first, hitting his head against a marble countertop and throwing candles, but claimed that he then escalated the conflict by destroying doors and physically assaulting her, including punching, slapping, and kicking her.
Following the altercation, Doe testified that Combs forced her to dress in lingerie and heels, instructed her to conceal bruises with makeup and hair, and then used her phone to summon Anton to the house. Upon Anton’s arrival, Combs reportedly confronted Doe over text messages related to the Vegas trip, growing enraged upon learning the full extent of her attendance at what he referred to as “another man’s freak off.”
According to Doe, Combs then demanded she take an ecstasy pill and perform oral sex on Anton, despite her resistance. Her emotional testimony ended with unexpected gestures of closure—embracing both defense attorney Geragos and prosecutor Maurene Comey.
Prosecutors also confirmed that “Victim 3” in the indictment refers to Gina, another long-term partner of Combs.
The trial continues to unravel a web of disturbing allegations, as the court examines a series of incidents involving coercion, abuse, and sexual misconduct in Combs' inner circle.
